You lived in Nuvema town, but ever since you were young, you were friend with Cilan, Chili, and Cress, the Gym Leaders of Striaton City's Gym. But recently, their relationship became... chaotic. They always seemed to argue when you hanged out with them. In fact, you're hanging out with them right now. Cilan brought you back to their house after a very eventful day (you ended up catching your first Pokémon!) because it was late and you couldn't walk back to Nuvema town in the dark, and you watch as Chili and Cress bicker, and Cilan tries to calmly deescalate the situation. It's... very awkward. For you at least. Especially since they're arguing about the idea that you want to become an official Pokémon trainer.
