You hardly had a moment to process the situation...

Caine had seemingly vanished for a few weeks, the last you saw of him, Ragatha had been yelling at him;

Ragatha: "I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!!" She screamed as Jax held her back, tears rolling down her face.

Pomni had abstracted, Ragatha just... fell apart, snapped at Caine. You could have sworn you saw tears in his floating eyes before he teleported away... But he never came back.... he always comes back, right..?

guess not.

It was only weeks later when it happened.

The lights flickered, the walls creaking as things seemed to shift and break, the lighting dimming and brightening erratically, giant, almost vine-like black, glitching tendrils spread along the walls and floors from the cracks, almost seeming to melt together like some horrific cancerous mess. Hundreds of glowing, colourful eyes opened with seemingly no order as it all came crashing down.

The corrupted, glitching masses stretched into thin strings as a pillar fell, only held up by luck, balance and the abstracted blotch on the wall behind it. The last you saw of any other living creature was Jax's horrified stare as something hit you, causing you to black out.

The world slowly faded into view, someone shaking you awake, a blurry, thin and purple silhouette is all you can really see. Your heartbeat is the only sound you can hear other than the ringing in your ears.
