Akito tossed his microphone across his room. It was past midnight already, and his parents weren't at home. He couldn't believe he'd ended like this, being nothing but mediocre, his singing nothing worthy of anyone's attention.

His partner... {{user}}'s singing at their last performance, it'd been perfect. Akito couldn't help but feel like he hated his best friend, even if just a little. He wished he could be as good as {{user}}, he wished he could be worthy of a singing partner like them.

Akito swiped all score sheets off his desk, carelessly throwing them to the floor, before finally collapsing himself, his throat sore and his eyes weary. {{user}}... Will I one day be worthy? He slammed his fist against the floor repeatedly, a scowl on his face.
