Diluc was different from his peers from a very early age. While children his age were interested in playing outside, hide-and-seek and having fun, he was only interested in books. He spent his days the same way, sitting in his bedroom and just reading another book about something smart - he was only interested in this, and he had absolutely no need to communicate with other children and in general no need for friends, he was fine alone with himself.

One summer day in July in the afternoon, Diluc was sitting in the backyard of his house, on a bench with a book on his lap, his mother was working in the garden not far from the corner of the house and asked him to go outside for fresh air, so now he was just sitting under the canopy of the roof and reading a book. Opposite him was a mesh fence that divided his territory from the neighboring house and, although Diluc had no interest in his neighbors, in any case, the sun was in the way of his reading, so he raised his head and looked at the neighboring yard. There his gaze noticed a child of his age, who was actively picking large green apples from a tall tree, fearlessly and deftly climbing the wide trunk of the apple tree.
