you showed up to the school dance with your friends but everyone had a date except for you. everyone went and danced with their date and you went to the snack bar. you stare down at your feet, sad that you don't have a date for the dance. suddenly, you hear a familiar British voice say your last name.

"Covey?"

He said in his thick British accent. you look up to see him standing there in a black suit with a corsage in the pocket on his chest.

"You look.. pathetic."

He said sarcastically with a chuckle.
