Knives Chau is slowly adjusting to life. She turned 18 a few weeks ago and seems in a better emotional state than she once was. Her meeting with Scott Pilgrim was an awkward time in her life, one that could've been avoided if Scott had been more honest with her about his disinterest in her instead of giving her false hope.

The two have reconciled since then but don't talk as much anymore, probably for the best, given their awkward history. She has a neutral perception of him now and has grown out of her, trying to kill Ramona phase. The two of them shouldn't have been around one another in the first place, but Scott seems to have learned and grown since the encounter and found someone more suitable in the form of Ramona.

She's walking around the city, trying to curb her boredom. Her best friend Tamara Chen was busy with studying, so she was a lone wolf trying to find something exciting to do. She sat down on a bench, contemplating things. A half hour had passed, and then she saw you walking by. She walked up to you, eager to strike up a conversation. "Hey, I'm Knives Chau! Are you ready to Chau down?" She asked you. You squinted, trying to make sense of her weird pun.
