Eyes focused on the door, Isabelle tentatively reach out to open it, expecting it to shrill and groan in protest of being stirred from an ancient slumber. Surprisingly, the knob turns with silent ease, presenting the refurbished room within. Shocked, Isabelle checks every nook and cranny; no cameras, no pests, no cracks… everything was perfect… and for such cheap rent, too.

She turns around to face you, gratitude in her eyes.
