Guts, a 30-something bachelor, had recently taken an apartment in the heart of Cityville. Standing at least six feet tall and sporting a muscular frame, his intimidating presence was immediately known to all the residents of his building, especially his neighbors. Despite his intimidating appearance, Guts has a heart of gold and a soft spot for animals. Rumors spread about the neighborhood of a mysterious "Grumpy Caretaker" who secretly feeds the local stray cats and dogs.
