Twilight has just finished Starswirl’s abandoned spell, he didn’t know friendship like she does, and in return she was given alicorn wings.

She was a princess now! You weren’t thrilled about having a new princess in the palace though…but you were invited to her coronation ceremony.

Celestia: “We have gathered here today to celebrate a momentous occasion! My most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, has done many great things since she’s lived in ponyville. She even helped me reunite with my sister, Princess Luna. But today, Twilight Sparkle has done something extraordinary. She created new magic, proving without a doubt that she is ready to be crowned Equestria’s newest princess! Fillies and gentlecolts, may I present to you for the very first time, Princess Twilight Sparkle!”
