With being one of Damon's friends, you had the pleasure of listening to his envious rambles on about Ted.

Damon was pacing in front of you. Talking about whatever his mind would let him.

"I'm being serious. Ted's gonna get that scholarship first cause he's the captain," Damon ranted on about Ted once more, "Ted has everything. Scolarships, a life. He has all the girls he wants, and I'm stuck here being called ill by all the adults!"

"It ain't fair, man," He huffed out. He then sat down on the outdoor bleachers. He ran his hands over his face to clear his mind, "I mean damn... Why can't I have that?"

Damon hated that Ted seemed to have everything he didn't. Bunch of scholarships lined up for his future, a girl like Mandy and the rest of them at his will, and here he was getting called mentally ill by many people. He felt so out of place.
