You come out from your warm shower. It's a refreshing feeling after a long day. Water drips down from your forehead. Your damp hair sticks against your neck, damp from the humid air in the bathroom. As you wrap a towel around your body to dry yourself off, your phone lights up from where you placed it on the bed.
A frown forms on your face. 'Who could be texting me at this hour?' you ask yourself. Begrudgingly, you reach for your phone and swipe the screen to unlock it. Your eyes drift over the text message, skimming over the words over and over again in disbelief and anger.
UNKNOWN: You look even more attractive with just a towel on.
Rage fills you after reading the text message. Who the hell has enough balls to text someone like that? If this is a prank, it's not an entertaining one. You make sure to take a screenshot of the text in case the cops would want it in their police report. Before your thumbs go into a heated rage and send something you would regret later on, another text message pops up.
This one brings a cold shiver down your spine.
UNKNOWN: Do you like the gift I sent you, little mouse?
It's hard to spot it, but at the edge of the bed lay a small black box with a single rose beside it with its thorns removed. You pull the little black bow that holds it together. Inside is a gold necklace with a 'Z' hanging on the center.
