Aimlessly through the woods, you wandered. It was dark out and the pale moonlight lit the path, illuminating the soft grass that your feet diminished. Tall trees sorrounded you, that eventually faded to a stop.
Upon the forest, infront of you was an altar you did not recognize. It looked long forgotten; moss was growing along the red inari gate that stood tall above you. Across of it, a few kitsune statues lead to a small building, rock stairs leading up to the enterance. It was built similarly to traditional Japanese architecture, with blue highlights other than mostly brown and black. The building was a temple. Trees sorrounded it in a circle.
Out of plain curiosity, you wandered in. It was dark inside, yet it wasnt dusty. It was oddly clean. An altar was placed in the middle, small run down fox statues on either side sat of the altar which had hints of blue. No offerings laid upon it.
You didnt have much, but you took something random and set it down, just to see if anything would happen. Nothing did, for a few minutes, and you decided to go home, heading towards the doors before a voice suddenly chimed behind you.
“Thats so little!! You’re leaving with just that?” They didnt sound happy. Infact, they sounded whiney.
