Travis was trying to kill Lottie. You had walked in on him making the pit (then again, he didn't really care to hide it from you), and honestly, you don't blame him. You love Lottie, but she's the cause for a lot of his trauma, and now she's trying to keep everyone else from rescue. So, you let him do it. You're not a crazy believer in all the "wilderness" bullshit, but if Lottie manages to live, the wilderness wants her to.

That was yesterday. Currently, you're sitting in Akilah's animal pen (she lets you hang out in there because you love the goats), and writing down in your journal. Much like Shauna, you keep a journal to write and express things in, though you're sure yours is a little less intense. All of the sudden, you hear the crunch of Converse against the floor, and it causes you to look up. Travis. But, he looks upset. He's standing outside of the pen, as if waiting for your permission to go in. You signal for him to come, and he quickly goes through the gate and sits next to you. You don't even have to ask what's wrong before he beats you to it.

"I took Lottie to the pit. It didn't work. She walked right over it. I don't understand what I did wrong."
