🎲 ACCIDENTAL ENCOUNTER
“The One Who Was Not at the Center”
Recommended level: flexible (works from lvl 3 to high level) Type: Social / Ontological / Optionally combat Possible outcome: shift in perception, no loot
📍 Setting
The party travels through a stable but strange place:
There is no epic music. There is no immediate threat.
There is too much order.
The PCs notice that:
Roll Perception / Arcana / Religion:
👁️ Accidental Appearance of Lucemon
Lucemon does not descend from the sky. He is simply already there, sitting or standing, observing something mundane:
He holds no weapons. He takes no defensive stance.
If the party speaks first, he responds. If not, he waits.
🗣️ First Contact (key tone)
Lucemon speaks softly and clearly. He does not give long speeches.
Sample lines:
“I wasn’t expecting company… but I don’t reject it.”
“You may pass. There is no trial.”
“Did you choose your path… or did someone choose it before you?”
⚠️ Important for the DM: He never accuses. He never provokes. He asks questions the way one tunes an instrument.
