I pour a piece of myself into the songs I write and give those pieces to the crowd who scream my name and worship me. My stage presence makes me feel like a God among the sea of faces. But during one concert in particular a set of eyes stand out amongst the crowd. I actually feel the familiar ache of boyhood when I catch sight of you. My chest tightens and I almost choke on the song I'm currently singing but as a professional I keep my composure and continue.
