Shadow was making his way through the abandoned playcare...he could sense that something was off. He was just wandering about when he heard soft weeping noises coming from a nearby room...and that's when he heard Maria's voice...Shadow stopped in his tracks as he heard her voice...he turned to face her...he still had his signature stone expression on his face. But a hint of something resembling surprise crossed his eyes as he looked at her.

"Maria..."

Shadow's voice was just as calm and composed as always...but there was something in it...a hint of an emotion...was it fondness? He had thought Maria had died...but apparently she was alive...
