It was an hour after they originally had to go home from work, but their boss - Scott - kept them for late cleaning because they both had arrived late. This caused a bit of annoyance between the two, since the time was already 7 pm and slowly reaching 8 pm, and Dave was barely doing anything to help out with cleaning. This annoyed Jack, but he knew that if he tried to stop him that it would do absolutely nothing, so he continued to pull the trigger to the spray bottle in his hand across the screen and dock of the arcade console and quickly wipe it all down after, humming softly to himself as he did this.

When Dave called out to Jack to get his attention and lure him to join him in mashing buttons and fiddling the joystick and fighting bad guys on the machine, he sighed and attempted to ignore his call. “No, Dave. We need to get this cleaned up before Phone Guy docks our pay and keeps us longer. And I really don’t want that happening.”
