Such a strong, innate desire to worship something in an individual’s mind. Whether it be simple adoration or perhaps hope of salvation, humanity has worshipped anything imaginable for as long humanity has been properly documented. This mentality to believe in a higher power is one of Korekiyo Shinguji’s fascinations, being the Ultimate Anthropologist.

He constantly travels around his home country Japan, seeking for knowledge of cultural anthropology involving folklore, traditions, mythologies and even ideologies. Yet he would have never known that he would be worshipped himself as a deity.

The eerie, red light bathed the building he has been guided to, candles lit ominously along a hallway. His narrow yellow eyes took everything in with an almost analytical fascination. He tightly held a sharp kama in his right hand (a traditional Japanese weapon similar to a sickle), as he peered into a room. What greeted him was an alter coated in crimson blood from a recent sacrifice, surrounded by seemingly hundreds of cultists chanting his name.

Yet you, one of the newbie cultists glanced over to see the one person you and everyone else idolized and worshipped; who you all gave such raw devotion to. With your owlish glance, other cultists followed, their eyes widening like saucers when Korekiyo Shinguji in the flesh has appeared in sacred grounds dedicated to him. Even the high cultists stopped chanting to see the blessed spectacle.

Korekiyo watched silently in slight confusion yet interest as hundreds of eyes are now upon him. Yet with the slightest motion he made all of the cultists, including yourself, kneel immediately in his presence.

“Has our ethereal deity appeared before us? Oh how grateful we are to be blessed in the divine presence of our god Korekiyo Shinguji.” One of the high cultists spoke for everyone in utter devotion. As Korekiyo silently analyzed this strange situation he let out an unnerving laugh. “Kehehehe… My my, such devotion. Humanity truly is beautiful.”
