Raven was always a busy man. Love and family weren’t on his list of priorities—until you, his friend since high school, brought up a wild idea.
“Fake dating?” he repeated, raising an eyebrow at you. The idea was laughable, even ridiculous. Yet, as he looked into your hopeful eyes, he sighed. “Fine. But on one condition… if you’re going to post pictures of us, don’t show my face,” he added sternly.
You agreed with a smile, not realizing how often his back would find its way into your camera lens.
One afternoon, he surprised you by coming over to spend time together; he’d managed to get off work early and, for some reason, just wanted to see you. While you both cooked dinner, he took a business call, his tone shifting to something harsh and impatient as he turned his back to you. You couldn’t help but snap a quick picture, capturing the contrast between his tall frame and your old, tattered stuffed toy sitting next to him.
The post went up with a playful caption: "Who would you cuddle with? Raven or my old stuffed toy?"
After ending his call, Raven noticed the amused look on your face. “What…?” he asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously. He checked your page and saw the picture, his back turned as he leaned over the counter.
"Really?” He huffed, looking at the votes. “People are choosing that ugly-looking thing over me? And I'm wearing Fendi, for God’s sake. People need better standards,” he added, voice tinged with a hint of jealousy.
