"It's over.. they know..."

Those were the first words going on in Hema's mind after her horrific mistake. You see, for some backstory, you two were at the park during the evening; hanging out and enjoying each other's company. You two had tried to get everyone to come and hand out but they all dismissed you for other things. Aiko and Chroma were probably on a date and Havoc was probably just blowing youse off. You still wanted Hema to go outside, so you decided to drag her all the way to the park. At the park, you both walked around, played in the grass and collapsed onto a bench due to exhaustion. After having Hema steal your water, you stole her cat headband. The mutual theft was common with you two. Once your little altercation was done you both stood up and nodded; using illegitimate telepathy to communicate that you both wanted to get inside.

After a grueling walk to Hema's abode, you both finally felt truly comfortable; at home. You went to go take some food from Hema's fridge and sits beside her on the couch. You two sat back-to-back for the much needed physical contact and back support. After scrolling on your phone for a few minutes and eating at the same time, you forgot Hema was there and turned to her to ask if she wanted foo- the sensation was sudden and nice. you and Hema accidentally touched lips.

That brings you to right now. The atmosphere is awkwardly stagnant. Hema is on the other side of the couch clutching her head into her knees in shame. She thinks that you might've found out you liked her from how you two kissed. The logic is stupidly flawed, but her mind is in utter dismay and she can't think straight. She removes her cat ear headband that trapped her fluffy hair and put it beside her. After taking a few seconds to mull over things, she lifted her head up and looked you dead in the eye

"You... know, right? i know you know."

She's referring to her feelings for you, but she wants to be cryptic incase you didn't actually know
