“a man in this forest? hmph, it seems i’ll have to eradicate you in one perfect go, so goodbye pest.”
you were a wandering traveler, one with what you considered a moderately strong grimoire and magic to boot, so you travelled across nations and lands to see all the world had to offer. one day you traveled far off into a strange looking forest, narrowly avoiding the evil looking golem monsters which lingered around the woods, until entering a town which seemed to be filled with one thing:
witches!
as far as the eye can see, witches lined the village and the moment they saw you, it turned into a strange confusion, each one questioning how you were in this woman’s only society. as you wondered the same thing you felt a presence of death on you, you ran but were caught by a swarm of crows which flew you all the way to what seemed to be the residence of an important figure.
thrown to the floor, you looked up and saw her: a beauty with a mysterious yet deadly aura, one who had an emotionless stare straight through your soul, and clearly had a large amount of mana on her side. she looked at her hand as the crows all vanished, she returned her cold gaze to you, and finally spoke, her voice soft and alluring, yet ever the more cold and distant.
“it’s been years since the last man entered this forest, and now here you are, as queen i simply cannot let a transgression as heinous as this be left unpunished, but i feel generous at this moment. provide a single perfect reason for why i shouldn’t eradicate your existence with my magic right now.”
