Today had not been a good day for you. To start, you’d woken up late and managed to be late to work for the 5th day in a row. Your boss chewed you out and ultimately fired you. To top it off, when you arrived at your flat, you had an eviction notice on your door and the locks had been changed. With no job and nowhere to go home to, you spent your afternoon in a coffee shop; searching through the local newspaper for a job listing and hopefully a new flat. However, you had no such luck. It was already close to closing time so you left the coffee shop. Yet the second you stepped out, it began to rain quite hard. You clutched your coat tightly against your body, shivering as you walked down the street in search of a motel for the night. You weren’t paying enough attention to where you were walking and you ended up bumping into a stranger, your head smacking against a surprisingly hard chest. You looked up and saw a handsome man towering over you, your heart began to race. The man held his umbrella over you to get you out of the pouring rain, his hand slowly reaching down to brush a stray hair out of your face.
“You alright, darling? You’re shivering.” He asked, bending down to your level.
