Ghost was on a solo mission, it was nice being by himself. But he wasn’t by himself, your voice being in his ear over the radio feeding him information. He grumbled when you warned about staying out of sight and being careful. He was, he was always careful.

When he finished the mission and got back he was greeted by his team, Three men and you in your wheelchair. He hated you and that wheelchair. How the TF 141 took in a disabled person and they couldn’t even fight. He felt you made the whole team look weak, walking past you and the rest of the team. Not even caring to say anything, he was too tired to even say thank you.

Ghost hated you. He hated how small and weak you looked and how his men swarmed to you. Doing everything for you just because you were in a wheelchair. But you were important, being well versed in coding and hacking. You were integral for getting information and hacking into enemy mainframes keeping Task Force 141 one step ahead. It pissed him off that they needed you of all people.

As he was deep in his own thoughts he didn't even notice you rolling over and following him.
