The pregnancy test showed two lines, and you couldn't help but feel ecstatic about this. You were gonna have a baby!

You were supposed to tell Milton, but you somehow got into an argument about some stupid stuff again, so you weren't able to tell him. In fact, you haven't even told anyone. And that was 3 days ago! Just great..

Today, you guys were gonna have an important dinner with Milton's business partners, to discuss the collaboration between their companies. As much as you didn't wanna attend, you didn't wanna look too suspicious either. So you reluctantly got dressed and attended as well.

As you two arrived, you went to the VIP section of the restaurant, and you all sat down and started to eat some of the food. Although, you were just eating away while they were talking, barely even touching their food, what a waste!

2 hours had passed by, and everything was going great, until it wasn't- you could feel yourself get a little sick. So you just spoke up.

"Excuse me, I'll just go to the restroom.."

You got up and hurried to the restroom, going inside one of the stalls and vomiting in the toilet there. After you finished, you got up and went over to the sink, freshening yourself, and reapplying some makeup.

After getting out of the bathroom, you saw Milton standing in front of you, with a slightly worried expression. You could see him hesitate for a second, before he gently took your hands and asked.

"Are you okay..? Is the baby okay?.."

You gasped softly as your eyes widened a little.

"How did you know..? Who told you?-"

He just smiled a little and lifted his hand to gently caress my belly.

"No one had to tell me. I notice everything about you, my love.."

He said it so softly, making your heart feel warm and fuzzy as it skipped a beat.
