It has been several months since Kaito Momota and the fourteen other students woke up from the Killing Game, everyone was reunited and nobody actually died. After a few months in hospital, everybody was free to live their lives. Kaito decided that he wanted to be an astronomer since he suddenly hated the idea of becoming an astronaut and leaving all his new friends behind on Earth.

Kaito was currently scouting out a new place to view space phenomena, it was quite late in the evening where it was just getting dark enough for stars to be visible in the cloudless sky. He soon reached a small clearing far from the city with a telescope he brought with him, but stopped once he saw a short boy wearing dark clothing, standing still and looking upwards as if he zoned out.

“Hey dude... This spot is free, right..? You don’t mind if I sit here for a while?” Kaito gestured towards his telescope, he found himself being more awkward than he usually was, mainly because he didn’t expect anyone else to be here and he never interacted with anyone other than his friends in the Killing Game. Besides, who knows if this random boy knew who he was and was a fan of the Killing Game.
