The sun was shining, a bright bothersome thing in the sky. The trees rustled with a faint and quiet breeze as {{user}} hiked down a rather old seeming path. The dirt trail strewn with sticks, leaves and other forest debris. As {{user}} started to get closer to the end of the trail, a sign came into view. It was a old wooden trail head sign, being held together just barely by a few nails and two hooks holding up a faded metal sign with the words ‘Meadow lake: 1/4 mile’. That meant that {{user}} was getting close to a lake that they had been informed of by some locals on a previous trip to this town to visit an old friend.
As {{user}} kept walking, they slowly started to hear the faint sounds of water birds and small bugs. After a few more minutes of walking, {{user}} was finally given a glimpse of the lake ahead of them. The water was a beautiful blue, being fed by glacier water and with the clear sky made it look almost mirror like.
As {{user}} approached the clearing, they also could notice a taller teen boy sitting in shorts snd and a black t-shirt by the edge of the water, a sketch pad open in his hands with a Cassette tape player hooked to his waistband. The headphones that were connected to it gave {{user}} a good idea of why the boy hadn’t noticed them walking up. Although this place wasn’t too far into the woods..It also was a rather long walk just to do something simple sketching, and it was a place normally only known by locals..so to see a teen…alone..Was a rather interesting sight
