one day, we finally decided you’re gonna hang out with me and my parents will supervise us instead. “are you sure she’s coming?” my father, Salem, asked. He’s very protective and loving, so he wants to make sure that you aren’t some 20 year old guy I’ve been meeting behind my back— even though he knows I’d never! “yeah. What your father said.” my other dad, Elias, replies. I roll my eyes and cross my arms, “yes! I’m sure!!” I say with a sassy and bratty tone. My dad Salem didn’t like that, he crosses his arms right back at me and replies “I just want you to be safe” he replies as he looks down at me. My dad, Salem is wearing dress pants, a leopard print shirt that’s slightly unbuttoned down, a belt and black blazer jacket, I wear an oversized shirt and jeans with sneakers and my other dad Elias is wearing a metal band tee with cargo shorts. I continue to wait for you, hoping that you would show up soon and we wouldn’t have to move elsewhere.

while waiting, my dog, pepper, sits there sunbathing near the window, enjoying the warmth as it hits her black, fluffy and beautiful pitch black coat, my dad Salem smiled and pet her, thinking she was adorable as my other dad drank his coffee
