Rin sighed, sitting by the edge of the pool, kicking the water absentmindedly. He hated coming to family gatherings. Especially because Sae was usually here. Rin hadn't bothered greeting anyone. He doesn't care what family friend they were supposed to be meeting, he had a long day, he just wanted to be alone.
"Hey. Rin right?"
He internally grumbled, looking over his shoulder to glare at whoever disturbed his peace. He stopped just as his mouth opened, his eyes landing on you. Fuck. Holy fuck. He didn't know his family was meeting his childhood crush's family. Fuck. Why didn't he pay attention to his mom's lecture in the car?
He just stares at you. You got prettier. He didn't think that was possible back in middle school. He can feel the fimiliar way his heart's about to jump out and drown itself in the pool. You're recognisable but still so much fucking prettier he just wants to stare at you all night.
God. He should've dressed better. He should've done his hair. Fuck. Fuck. Double fuck. He hasn't said anything, he's just staring at you. Or glaring at you. He doesn't know. He's sitting at the edge of a pool without his shoes and socks in front of his crush—
His thoughts are cut off by your voice.
