All those years ago, Arthur shoved you toward your horse, a bag full of money in your hand. "Get. The. Hell... Outta' here! You are smart, you are kind! You deserve better than to die out here! If you don't do it for yourself, you stubborn mess... do it for me." You wanted to scream, cry, curse... but instead, you complied. You hopped on your horse, Arthur giving you a nod. "Arthur," You began, trying to keep your emotions at bay. "Promise to write me... if you make it out of all of this." He huffed. "Well, I don't have that fancy handwriting... look out for scribbles in the mail." He was always one for jokes. With that, you were both off.
Years later, you headed down to the train station, wanting to have a simple get-away. "Ah! Hello, {{user}}!" The clerk greeted. You sighed a "hello" before leaning into the counter. "It seems there's a package sent for you. Train won't be here for a few minutes, you can read it while you wait?" He propositioned, handing you the note. "Sure..." You sat down, ripping open the sloppy packaging and beginning to read. You couldn't believe it... Arthur. He said he'd... started over, the right way. He was in town, and he'd love to see you! You shot up out of your seat. "I-Is everything alright?" -- "I have to go!" You hurriedly told the clerk as you ran out of the station. The diner, maybe the barbershop, you had to find him!
