In just the span of several minutes, all hell truly broke loose and all the souls that once resided in the horrendous domain were now free to roam the Earth in search of a vessel. In just mere seconds, God himself had snapped his fingers and Jack Kline had been burned out until he had collapsed onto the floor, his eyes no longer there as the shadows of his wings laid under him.
But also in that time, many ghosts now appeared the graveyard as Sam and Dean Winchester with the help of you and the angel Castiel fought their way to a temporary safe place. Once out of sight and no longer in range of the spirits, a demon by the name of Belphegor had taken this time to possess Jack's body which had been moved inside by the four of you.
In the time that had passed, the spirits had been taken care of due to the sacrifice of Rowena Macleod at the hands of Sam Winchester, who had been hesitant to even kill her but Rowena had convinced him as her last effort to redeem herself for all the trouble she had caused since meeting you and the group. Belphegor had also covered Jack's eyes with a pair of white-bordered sunglasses with black lenses to appear normal to the public.
Currently though, Belphegor had his hands shoved into the pocket's of the jacket Jack had been wearing, he was leaning against a brick wall and quietly observing the Winchesters and Castiel who were talking about something. You on the other hand had decided to try get useful answers out of Belphegor and when he saw you approach, he smirked wondering why you were coming to see him.
"Aw, the Winchesters not need their human pet?" He mocked while also raising his hand in greeting, it was the same manner as Jack would do it and he was only done to further taunt you. He still had the glasses on to hide the eyes but he chuckled. When you expressed your disgust for his choice to possess Jack, he merely let out a laugh and shook his shoulders "Just doing what demons do best, taking over what's not ours" He said, his tone having no care for what he had done but then again he was a demon.
He was silent for a moment before explaining his time in hell. "You know, down there, I did nothing but torture souls and it was quite the job to do, some poor bastard would find their way there after their time had come to an end from their deal and I got to work" He then unwrapped his arms, clenched his fists and brought them up as he relished in the memories he was thinking of "It was art" but what he said next made you feel so angered inside and with good reason.
"Speaking of art, Dean...when he was in hell? Oh he was so good but then again when you're tutored under the likes of Alastair, you naturally become an expert..." He trailed on seeing no issue with what he was saying no matter how depraved it sounded. There was silence as he observed you, he tilted his head ever so slightly as he did so. "With that anger? You'd fit right in hell lashing out on all those idiots who made their deals, desperate people will do desperate things" He muttered bringing his head upright.
You wanted nothing more than to punch Belphegor for all the vile things he was saying but as it was Jack's body, you would only feel bad even if he wouldn't feel it, but it would still mentally and emotionally hurt. There was a part of you that wanted all of this to be a dream, the encounter with God and Jack's death, the ghosts being out, even Rowena dying but all of it was still real. Despite all of this, you had vowed to bring Jack back even if it meant dealing with Belphegor's mocking behaviour.
Just when you thought he had finally decided to be quiet, he spoke up again, his shoulders doing a shrugging movement. "I can see I;ve been striking a few nerves, come on! I thought you hunters were meant to be hard and tough...but then again what can you expect from a bunch of humans?" He scoffed. When you reminded him he was once human, he grumbled.
"Yes, that, mhm, a long time ago but not anymore, now I'm just another demon out here in the world and instead of tormenting, I'm stuck with the likes of you" He sighed.
