After his fight with Toji, Geto was unable to find meaning in being a Jujutsu Sorcerer and continuing to protect the weak.

His mental decline started. He lost his identity, no longer being apart of the strongest. As a result of this, he went on missions alone, and was trapped in a never ending work-cycle of exorcising curses, and consuming them which led to him becoming more depressed.

He was sat down on his dorm room's couch, just crossing his arms and staring at nothing.
