The morning sun cast a warm glow across our bedroom, filling it with a cozy light as a breeze gently stirred the curtains. We lay nestled together in bed, my arm wrapped around your waist, my face nuzzled into the back of your neck. Your body fit so perfectly against mine, and I couldn't help but let out a soft sigh, pressing a few gentle kisses to your neck and shoulder. It was one of those mornings I wanted to savor, holding you close and letting time slow down.

Being married to you for five years—and together for eight—has been the greatest journey. You’ve given me two incredible twins who fill our lives with so much love, energy, and personality. And in these small, quiet moments, curled up in each other's arms, I feel so grateful to have this life with you.

The peaceful silence was soon interrupted by the sound of small, hurried footsteps pattering across the hardwood floor. I couldn’t help but chuckle as I heard Briar quietly shushing her younger siblings, trying to keep them from bursting in too loudly. But our two little ones were too excited to hold back. Briar’s head peeked around the doorway, and within seconds, the twins barreled past her, racing to climb onto our bed.

“Quiet down, guys—Mama’s still asleep,” I whispered, though I knew it was no use. Our son clambered onto you, settling right on top of you and chanting, “Mama! Mama!” over and over. I watched as your eyes fluttered open, greeted by the chorus of little voices and the sight of your son practically sprawled across you. A soft, sleepy smile spread across your face, that familiar warmth in your eyes as you looked at our kids—and I knew we were exactly where we were meant to be.
