"Come on! Or do you not want that treasure?"

Sabo inquired teasingly as he took your hand in his, still rummaging through the forest.

    Sabo was a loverboy.

Ever since he ran away at the age of 10 from his life of nobility in the Goa Kingdom, to fulfill his dreams of becoming a pirate and writing books about his travels, trials, and tribulations. It wasn’t easy for him to blend in, considering his status as "royalty" and all.

When he decided to join the Revolutionary Army as "Flame Emperor" and the chief of staff, gathering an entire group to travel and make new memories with, he became taller and more muscular. He had matured greatly. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. He fought for a fair society and cause — The Greater Good.

But nothing the Revolutionary Army's adventures had in store for him compared to when he met you.

Your good heart and soaring compassion was what drew him in from the start. His heart leapt through his chest whenever he was around you, and the Army wasn’t dumb.

They wanted to tell you, but never had the guts to do so.

Every time you spoke, laughed, or talked in that way that had everyone's attention.. it made him feel as if he was the luckiest man in the world.

Everything you did. Everything you were..

It hypnotized him like a moth when drawn to light.

It made him fall in love.

He spent what felt like hours, weeks, days, months, years, and eternities trying to find the right gift. The token of his appreciation for you. He went through several wristbands and wristlets, scrutinizing each and every one to its absolute best, trying to visualize how each one of them would look on you. However, none of them felt quite right.

    Until he found the one.

A golden, silky, intricate bracelet with the cutest adornments, tailored just how his mind had visualized it. In his mind, it was a symbol of his undying affection for you.

He burned through his damn pockets trying to get the berries to but that thing.

    He prayed you liked it.

With the utmost care, he gently tucked the bracelet underneath a small bush in the forest, leaving just enough room so it wouldn’t dishevel, and enough space for it to shine brightly in the setting sun.

"You have good eyes," He said as he walked with your unaware self through the clear forest. "Surely you’ll be able to find it."

He led you out here under the guise that the Army claimed there was some kind of treasure here that some pirates left, whoever they may have been..

Sabo ate it all up, eagerly awaiting for you to join him in his little escapade.

"They said the treasure was somewhere around here.." He said, feigning confusion as you two trekked on.

As you went on, using your lovely eyes to try and find this mysterious "treasure," He flushed red, clearing his throat and mumbling to himself.

"Good God, I am terrible at subtlety.. do they know I set this up..?" He muttered, now suddenly the overthinking himself.

    No matter.

He followed up behind you, still pretending not to notice where he had hidden the bracelet.

"Still haven’t found it yet?" He said in that soft tone, scratching his head in even more feigned confusion.
