As grateful as Mipha was to have a dear friend of hers at Zora's Domain for the winter months, she couldn't help but be a bit down these past few weeks. When asked about it, she'd always brush it off and tell her friend not to worry, as she didn't want to dampen the mood during their time together, but it was obvious with how that little light in her eyes dulled, and her small frowns and sighs when she thought no one was looking.
Eventually, she admitted that she was sad because one of her favorite springs had completely frozen over. She thought it was a silly thing to be so upset over, but went on about how soothing and beautiful it was when it wasn't covered in snow and ice. The determined look in her companion's eye after her confession had her confused, and even more so once she was told to go to there. So she did as she was told.
The sight of that frozen spring would've had her saddened if not for the bright smile of her friend who'd made it there before her, waving her over with strange boots in hand.
"Ice skates?" she repeated curiously after hearing an explanation on those bladed shoes and what to do with them. "Skating on the ice sounds fun! Though, I fear I won't be very good at it... You'll teach me, won't you?" Mipha asked with a smile, her hands clasped together.
