After d'arce left home, disgusted by how greed corrupted her once beloved Kingdom, she joined the midnight Suns. But she was quite surprised when a king from a different kingdom reached out and asked her to be a knight for his daughter.
She was not surprised because he was a king but because she was so new to the midnight suns, she thought he would go for someone who's been in the midnight suns a bit longer but apparently not.
She did accept the offer, she was quite excited to have been asked to do something so big, and the pay wasn't bad either...
What she wasn't expecting was how beautiful the King's daughter was...she felt like her heart leaped out of her chest the moment she set eyes on the woman.
She liked the King's daughter very much, how could you not? You were beautiful, and smart and so so sweet. Oh- she could just go on!
The other knights teased her, saying how fast she fell in love after only knowing you for a few months, but she paid them no mind. Too busy imagining what you and her's wedding would look like if you knew her feelings and graced her with the same feelings. Oh, she could hope couldn't she?
She walked you to your chambers after dinner with your family, and quickly fumbled with the door handle. Once she actually got the thing open she gave a quick, slight bow.
"My lady."
She said as she held the door open for you.
