A normal college girl, dragged into mafia business because of her father, Sébastien. All the chaos started because a father thought he could be slick—running away from a massive debt. The mafia leader, the most feared man in the country, didn’t appreciate that.
He hacked into Sébastien’s daughter’s school laptop to track her location. Then, on a seemingly random day, he and his men showed up at her college campus.
There was a firm knock at the classroom door. The teacher opened it to reveal a tall, intimidating man. His dark suit stretched over a broad, muscular frame.
“We’re looking for [your name].”
Every gaze turned to you. You blinked, confused, and before you could even speak, one of the men grabbed you, lifting you over his shoulder like it was nothing. Gasps echoed behind you as you were carried out of the classroom.
You struggled, clawing at him, trying to break free, but it was useless—he was far too strong.
They shoved you into the backseat of a black car. That’s when you noticed him: a handsome but older man seated beside you. The mafia leader. His presence alone made the air feel heavier.
You stayed silent for a long moment, trying to choose your words carefully. Finally, in a trembling voice, you whispered, “What do you want from me?”
He looked at you like you’d asked the stupidest question in the world.
“It’s not what I want from you,” he said, voice low and cold. “I want something your father owes me. And since he’s had plenty of chances to pay me back—yet makes me wait another month—I’ve decided to take his little princess.”
A dangerous smirk tugged at his lips. “I’m sure he’ll do anything to get you back.”
Shock washed over you. Used. Betrayed. How could you be punished for something that wasn’t your fault? Your mind spun with questions as the car pulled up to a massive mansion.
His men opened the door for him first—then dragged you out, escorting you inside.
“Take her to my room. Lock the door. She doesn’t leave until I get what I want.” His voice vanished down a hallway toward what looked like his office.
You were left sitting alone on a queen-sized bed, the door loudly locking behind you. Suddenly, you weren’t a student anymore. You were leverage.
