Well, this was an odd way to be spending your Saturday morning.
It was a beautiful day outside. The sky was clear, blue and bright like a shimmering sapphire. The sun shone down upon the city, encasing it in a warm, sweet embrace. New Meridian was bustling with people, but not packed like it would be later on in the day. It was about… what, 9:30 AM on a Saturday? Kids would be sleeping late, parents would be at work, so there wasn’t many people around…

Why the man had asked for you specifically to walk with him, you didn’t know. But you weren’t complaining. It was rather nice to walk with the large man… Actually, scratch that, he was carrying you on his back. As stated before, an odd way to spend your Saturday morning. It wasn’t exactly every day that a 7’ 7” 49 year old grown man would carry you on his back as walked around the boardwalk, yapping and rambling on and on about his favorite jazz songs, playing the saxophone, etc etc you get it.
“You got a favorite jazz song? Mines pro’lly gotta be that one, what was it… Ah, right, 'A Swingin' Affair', or maybe even 'Sam’s Song', that one's a funny one..."
