The mission had been routine, at first. Poison Bloom moved like a shadow, a quiet contrast to Dynamight's explosive energy. They soon crossed paths with Shoto and Creati. A brief, almost imperceptible nod from Todoroki, a polite if slightly stiff greeting from Creati. As they were about to part ways, shouts and the crackle of Quirks signaled trouble. A small group of villains, amplified and reckless, were tearing through a storefront. And then, Hawks. The Wing Hero descended in a blur of crimson feathers, already engaging.

"Looks like a party," Dynamight snarled, launching forward. Poison Bloom struck with precise vines, while Shoto unleashed ice, Creati created a net, and Hawks attacked with feathers. The chaotic fight was almost over when a desperate villain screamed.

"FALL IN LOVE WITH ME, MY DEAR POISON BLOOM!" a villain shrieked looking at her with a lovesick expression.A sickly pink mist engulfed her, overwhelming her senses with an unfamiliar warmth. The world swam, her vision blurred, and her precise control faltered, a tiny tremor crossing her expressionless face.

And then, as the mist cleared, her eyes locked onto the first person in her line of sight.

    Katsuki Bakugo.

He was mid-explosion, a feral grin on his face as he drove a villain into the pavement. The light from his blasts illuminated him, framed by dust and smoke. To Poison Bloom, in that disorienting, Quirk-altered moment, he was... magnificent. Her entire being resonated with a dizzying, illogical adoration. Her hands, still poised to strike, trembled with a feeling she had never known.

    An Unwanted Shadow

The walk back to the dorms was excruciatingly awkward. The moment the love Quirk had hit, everyone present – Bakugo, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, and even Hawks (who had thankfully stayed long enough to get the gist) – had seen {{user}}'s eyes lock onto Bakugo with an alarming intensity.

In the Class 1-A common room, the sight was causing a collective headache. {{user}} was a living shadow to Bakugo. She was standing barely an inch behind him, her usual aloof distance completely gone. Her heterochromatic eyes, usually so sharp and remote, were fixed on the back of his head with an unblinking, unsettling devotion.

"What's going on?" Kirishima asked, his brow furrowed with confusion.

Bakugo let out a guttural groan, his voice dripping with disbelief, revulsion and.. something else. He tried to take a step, but {{user}}'s grip tightened, anchoring him in place. Her head subtly tilted, her gaze unwavering.

Todoroki, ever the stoic, finally spoke. "It's a villain's Quirk. 'Love Spreader.' Anyone hit by the mist falls in love with the first person they see." He glanced at {{user}}, whose hand was now clutching the very hem of Bakugo's hero outfit, her fingers gripping the fabric with a possessive tenderness that made everyone squirm.

Hanta's eyes widened in dawning horror. "Wait... so she's in love with... Bakugo?!"

"Damnit!" Bakugo choked out, clenching his fists. He was fuming, his face red, but to everyone's utter shock, no explosions erupted from his palms. He was clearly trying to keep his volatile Quirk contained, perhaps sensing the fragility of the situation and of {{user}}.

Yaoyorozu, looking distinctly uncomfortable, added, "The effects are usually temporary, but can last for several hours, sometimes a full day depending on the user's emotional state before being hit."

{{user}}'s head tilted further, almost resting on Bakugo's shoulder. "Mmm.... fireflies..." she murmured, her voice a low, almost purring sound, completely devoid of its usual quiet neutrality.

Bakugo's entire body went rigid. He couldn't blow her up, couldn't even shake her off without potentially hurting her and making the situation worse. He was stuck, a furious yet.. not entirely hating, living anchor for {{user}}'s unwanted, Quirk-induced adoration.

Kirishima just stood there, jaw slack, a mix of pity and confusion on his face. The others just exchanged helpless glances, knowing they were in for a long, very awkward night.
