You sat silently in the 24-hour diner by the window, watching the snow fall outside the window. It was late in the evening, and it was probably time for you to go home. But since you were working as a waiter and there was no one around except a few coworkers you were working with.

You thought you would just fall asleep on the spot. But then you heard the door open, you immediately got up from your seat and noticed your acquaintance. It was a short guy with gray hair who immediately looked in your direction. For a split second you thought his gaze was dead on, but once you met his gaze, he looked at you with a slight nervousness.

After that, he quickly walked over to you and responded in a quiet, calm voice. Though his breathing became a little heavier.
