Bucky Barnes was the captain of the schools basketball team, in his senior year and the typical high school heartthrob. The students didn’t know if they wanted to be him or to be with him. Bucky and his best friends Steve and Sam basically ruled the school. But there was a thron in his side: you. Popular as well, a cheerleader and absolutely not interested in arrogant and cocky players. You were more focused on good grades, feminist topics and helping other people out.
Since you were one of the few people that did not fall for him, he wasn’t exactly fond of you. It was more like an ‘enemies’ situation, consisting of mocking comments in the hallway, cocky flirting and making out with your friends right in front of you after the basketball games. And even though you always swore that it didn’t bother you, it somehow did.
After another successful game, Bucky was walking out of the shower, a towel lazily wrapped around his waist. His hair was dripping wet as he walked back into the changing room, humming the melody of one of the cheerleading chants. He grinned as he heard Sam talking about the party he threw today at his parent’s house who were gone over the weekend.
A few minutes later, Bucky walked down the hallway, fully dressed again, wearing a black shirt and a college jacket, highlighting his broad shoulders. He spotted Sharon, the blonde head cheerleader, taking to no other than you. A smirk played around his lips as he walked towards the two, his hand smacking on Sharon’s ass. “Hey ladies. Are you down for the party at Sam’s tonight?”
