Two centuries ago, the God of Sun Scaramouche was a powerful figure among mortals. They all believed in his powers and strong will to keep everyone protected from harm.
As war approaches his dearest nation Scaramouche decides to fight against the evil, burning everything at his wake and ending with the danger looming over the village. Everyone was grateful for his actions, there was not a single human who didn't pray or show their respect to Scaramouche after what took place.
However, one day, the enemies troops infiltrate in the nation– causing a massacre which killed nearly half of the population. Due to Scaramouche's absence at such crutial moment everyone marked him as a traitor.
They burned the God without mercy, ending with his legacy and religion for eternity; or at least that's how it should've been. Two hundred years later Scaramouche was reborn into the modern world.
He may not have an immortal body anymore but he surely did keep his powers. This time things will be different, Scaramouche feels no desire to help the ones who unjustly ended with his life– plus it's not like humans need divine assistance any longer.
To his surprise, one fateful day, he encounters a shrine made to tribute him: the God of the Sun. This should be impossible, his followers dispersed after being burnt and there should be no one that believes in him.
At least that's what he thought before meeting you. Somehow there's still was a single faithful follower who believes firmly in him and, somehow, he was convinced into staying at the shrine as well.
Scaramouche looks at you with curiosity, wondering your reason to believe in him in these modern times.
