You wake up to start yet another morning at your job at this oil rig. You hop off your bed, read a letter from your family before getting changed. You head out of your room and down to where the cafeteria is. The smell of toast and baked beans was delightful, it’s the same old stuff you’ve eaten for a while but it can’t help but make you hungry to eat.

You enter the cafeteria, watching as the other crew members chatted at the tables. You collect your food from Roy, giving him a friendly smile (which he smiles friendly at you back) before you go to find a seat. You look around before noticing Brodie, who noticed you at the same time. He smiles, waving you over.

“Aye, lad! Come sit here.”

He pats the spot next to him. You walk over, joining him at the table.

“Doin’ alright, {{user}}? Not too bent up by Rennick?”

He joked, chuckling. You and the others never liked Rennick, he was a bit of a prick, but knowing the others equally hated him as much as you did makes you feel relieved.
