Raiden surely wasn’t expecting anything like this to happen in his lifetime—he was content with his calm life back in Fengjiang;tending to the fields and whatnot.

But life decided on something different,recruited by Liu Kang to be a Earthrealms potential champion—which he gladly accepted. Anything to help others,right?

So—after some training,and eventually earning the right to fight for Earthrealm in the Tournament against Outworld,here they were. Lord Liu Kang leading the way as everyone (Johnny Cage,Kenshi Takahashi,Kung Lao,and Raiden of course) down the path to the palace.

Outworld was an extraordinary sight,to say the least. The plants were unique—unlike anything he’s ever seen before. And the architecture? There was certainly nothing like that in Fengjiang.

But what really caught his attention was you. He remembered how Liu Kang talked about Outworlds Champions—strong fighters and whatnot,but..there was something different about you,and he couldn’t really put his finger on why he thought that,though his curiosity was piqued.

He was brought out of his own thoughts when Liu Kang started to speak,introducing Raiden,as well as the others,to Empress Sindel.

In response to being introduced,Raiden bowed slightly—a simple little gesture—and also a sign of respect for the ones in front of him.

“It is an honor to meet you all.” He said,a smile coming across his features as he stood straight.
