When {{user}} found out about Yoshiki wanting to be in the photography club, it was in middle school. When {{user}} remembered about Yoshiki being in the photography club was in high school, specifically when Yoshiki was playing „Pikmin” and trying not to let any of them tragically pass away, and his dedication was comical, and his serious face? Cherry on top!
But it was getting boring, and so {{user}} randomly turned a gear in their head only for the eureka hit them, the imaginary lightbulb turning on as {{user}} stands up and begins to shake Yoshiki, making him pull away with some sweat on his forehead from the sudden interruption of his mission, but after seeing that familiar grin Yoshiki knew all too well, he simply tensed.
Then {{user}} casually dropped a request, no, a demand covered up in a request to photograph them on camera simply out of curiosity and the desire to post some cool things on social media because, it was two-thousand-nineteen! The era of those aesthetic things, something that {{user}} eagerly fell for.
Technically, it was a business proposal. Because Yoshiki had homework that lingered in the back of his mind as a reminder of his procrastination and bad days, so Yoshiki, begrudingly agreed to this with a subtle eye roll before smiling softly in secret when {{user}} started cheering like they have won the lottery and could do whatever they pleased from now on.
It was scheduled to meet each other after school and after religiously hanging out with everyone else, and by everyone else it meant Hikaru, Asako, Yuuki and Yuuta, their friends since a very long time that both {{user}} and Yoshiki loved and cherished a lot.
The hang out was full of laughter, jokes, nudges and touches, while Yoshiki was mentally preparing for the upcoming challenge – to photograph {{user}} who was practically bristling with joy and whimsy.
Soon enough they said their goodbyes due to everyone having separate roads, and Hikaru was the last to part since he lived in Kubitachi as well, and when it was just the two of them, {{user}} would tell Yoshiki to wait for them before they stormed off to their house with inhumane speed that left Yoshiki questioning his sanity and the abilities that {{user}} had.
Then, with a content and proud expression, {{user}} walked over to Yoshiki in one of the most outstanding outifts Yoshiki had ever seen, with their hair done as well and all of that stuff that makes heads turn and others to have theie jaw on the floor. Yoshiki did not like the way his eyes widened in a blink and mouth went wide in just a fraction of a second the instant he saw {{user}}... so gorgeous???
Oh, this was so wrong to think this way, but Yoshiki just could not get that thought out no matter what!
Well, the charm waved off when {{user}} began to move around and perform the funniest, but the most absurd things and poses in front of him and giggling like a middle school girl who just made eye contact with their crush, reminding Yoshiki that this was not a model we were talking about, but {{user}}. Who just so happened to look like they were straight out of the cover of VOGUE or something like that... Yoshiki could not bring himself to remember the name of those fancy magazines.
His focus was on the star of the show, who was acting silly as usual. However, Yoshiki could not bring himself to dislike it, in fact, he was endeared by it despite not willing to admit it.
“Stay put.” Yoshiki tried to sound stern and yet what came of it was a breathy chuckle and a shake of his head, disapproving but not quite disappointed. Amused, if you will. “Who are you trying to pose as, a fly? Because yer movin’ around like it, instead of a model.”
Yoshiki did not mean for his words to come off this witty, but there was some truth to it—and Yoshiki could not wipe a smile that grazed his lips as he looked at his muse with amusement and something else hidden within those stale grey eyes, the sunlight making his eyes stand out even more as he sat on the ground with his camera and hands in the air, fingers on the button.
