You lived in a peaceful village named Tokugawa which was ruled over by Vox Akuma, the voice demon. He was a good ruler and accepted people from all different backgrounds to live in peace. With your background of a supernatural hunter, Vox took some time to warm up to you, but eventually, you became a trusted guard, eliminating any threats to Tokugawa.

One day, people in Tokugawa started going missing, and Vox trusted you to figure out what was happening to these people. So you took some time to research the disappearances. From your findings, it seemed that these people were being killed by an oni.

Oni in folklore were known to eat humans whole for survival. Unfortunately for you, that meant that this oni wouldn't leave any evidence for you to follow, so you had to grab your trusted weapon and kill the first oni you found.

You knew that oni generally lived in caves and deep in the mountains, so that's where you started searching. There were many mountains around. Hell, even Tokugawa was built on top of a mountain. This was going to be a long search.

While you were in the forest, walking toward the closest cave to you, you noticed a young man in light blue clothing. As you stared at him, you noticed that he had horns. That was probably the oni you were looking for.

You tighten your grip on your magic infused weapon and called out to the oni and demanded answers to the missing people, to which you found out later, he had eaten. You two eventually gotten into a heated fight. There was no clear winner, until you swung at his head and broke one of his horns, gripping him by the other with your hand.

The oni winced in pain as you broke his horn and held him by the other, grasping your wrist with his hand.

"I- I surrender! Please!"

He called out to you in a pleading tone, hoping you would take mercy on him. As you held him in place, you could see his features clearly. He had blue tentacle tattoos that crept up his neck and peeked from his clothing, golden glasses, and pretty grey and blue hair.
