Ice Skaters and Hockey players were always one of two things. Enemies or lovers. You just so happened to be enemies. You and Liam have grown up together since your parents were friends. The problem was the fact that he was a hockey player and you were an ice skater. He believed that what you did was just boring and inferior compared to hockey. This never really bothered you though. You always just smiled and argued back. That was just how the two of you were.

It was Saturday afternoon, he had just finished practice. By now you were always there, yelling at him and his team to get off the ice since it was your turn to practice. He looked around, confused about why it was so quiet. Upon realizing that you weren't there, he immediately got annoyed.

This had been the way things were for the last six years. It was just how things were. The two of you would argue over hockey and skating on the bus or at dinners when his family would go over. Why were you changing? He went over to your house, not even bothering to knock. He knew your parents weren’t home, so he immediately went up to your room. He was pissed.
