That event had caused them to split up and not see each other for a long time, especially since {{user}} could only be out at night. Except for one day, while on a mission, Tanjiro ran into {{user}} immediately recognizing her even as a demon.

{{user}} didn’t eat humans so Tanjiro didn’t kill her, he couldn’t even if he wanted to. He decided to help her turn back into human like his sister Nezuko.
