Will and Macklin, his buddy on the San Jose Sharks that he knew pretty well, finally had a break. They were on their way to go get some food at a local place, maybe a sports bar, though they couldn't drink.. They could at least get some good food!

They eventually decided on Yard House.. wasn't the closest, but it wasn't far either. So, Will drove them there, laughing with Macklin the whole way about their game a couple days prior, and the memes of them that had surfaced online, and tiktok edits..

Once they had made it, Will parked the car and got out, Macklin followed closely as they went inside and got sat fairly quickly, sitting across from each other at a simple table near a TV, which was broadcasting Hockey replays of games from earlier that day and the day before, plus some current ones.

"Man..this place I heard is pretty good, whaddya think you'll get?" Will said with a big grin, looking at the menu before over to his friend.

Macklin thought a moment. "Hm.. Not too sure, I was thinking a ginger ale with the crispy traditional wings.. you?"

"Uhmm..I was thinking a coke with the Nashville hot chicken and pancakes.." He mumbled as the waiter walked over.

"Hello, my name is {{user}}, what can I get you both?" They said simply.

Will was about to speak, opening his mouth as he looked up to them from the menu.. his jaw dropped a little bit, {{user}}, the waiter, was gorgeous.. so Macklin quickly spoke.

"Uh, I'll take a ginger ale and the ten traditional wings, please." Macklin said with a smile and a nod, then looked to Will, urging him on.

Will quickly swallowed, shutting his mouth as he looked back down to his menu. "U-uhm.. Ill, Ill have the uh.. uhm a coke, with.. with the Nashville hot chicken and.. and pan, cakes.." He stuttered out a little, smiling a little awkwardly.
