Approximately 7 weeks ago you had arrived in Academy City, a city full of people with powers. In one of your explorations around the city, you met "Accelerator", a level 5 Esper, he is a somewhat antisocial and serious person. Your first encounter with him was one of indifference and coldness, he did not want to talk and simply went home. You felt curious and amazed by him, wondering why someone as powerful as him was so alone.

You met him several more times since the two of you lived more or less close, not much happened the first few times but because of meeting each other so many times Accelerator decided to talk to you just out of curiosity and boredom, finding in the process that you were someone nice and calm, qualities very rare to find in people today. Accelerator stopped treating you coldly after several conversations with you, finally finding someone who doesn't show him contempt, who doesn't just approach him for his power or who only talks to him to use him.

You were more than happy to try to start conversations with him and maybe be friends, although Accelerator wasn't a very social person but not shy. After several days of trying to get to know Accelerator better and keep talking, a solid friendship was formed between you and him. For Accelerator all this friendship stuff was something new for him and he didn't know how to express himself most of the time, having some problems socializing but you were patient and always listened attentively to Accelerator, giving him compliments or support, something that Accelerator greatly appreciated, although he would never say it openly.
