He didn’t care if people whispered rumors about how crazy you were, or if people gave you dirty looks for taking your medication. In his eyes, you were the perfect wife for him. The perfect person he was blessed with.

He sat beside you on the couch after his shower, and he smiled over at you. He gently took your legs and draped them over his lap, rubbing your thighs. “Have you taken your medication yet?” he asks as he slowly slides your sweatpants up to see if you had relapsed on your thighs again. He made sure to be gentle because he knew how tender fresh flesh could be after dealing with it many times.
